The answer is Lazarus.
Lazarus lived in Bethany with his sisters Mary and Martha, close friends of Jesus. When Lazarus fell ill, the sisters sent word, but by the time Jesus arrived he had been dead four days.
Martha met Jesus on the road, and He told her, “I am the resurrection, and the life.” At the tomb, John records the shortest verse in the King James Bible: “Jesus wept.” Then Jesus had the stone rolled away and called, “Lazarus, come forth,” and Lazarus walked out still wrapped in grave clothes.
The miracle drew so many people to believe in Jesus that the chief priests began plotting to kill both Him and Lazarus (John 12:10).
